Don't stay here. It is very run down and super overpriced. I would pick another place to stay if you're in Montrose. Pros: Good shower pressure Cons: Deadbolt on my door didn't work. Door didn't seem like it fit correctly. Bathroom sink took forever to drain. Ceiling tiles are yellowed and stained. No breakfast - advertising says free coffee and breakfast item, nope. No pool There was a large bag of garbage two doors down that was there the entire weekend. This morning when I left at 5:30a....the garbage was still there, and a neighborhood cat was going thru it. Gross! I did let the front desk know about the door lock and sink issue on Saturday morning. When I came back Saturday afternoon, ready for a shower after hiking all day, my key didn't work. The front desk advised that they only authorized it for one night instead of two. Stuff happens but not 5 min after I get into my room, they called and asked if I wanted the repair guy to come over and fix the lock and the sink. WHAT...... why didn't they do that during the day when I was gone. I told them no, I need to get showered and ready to meet friends for dinner. It was a very weird experience.

The location was great, in the middle of town and the rooms were very comfortable. The bed had me sleeping as if I was asleep on cotton clouds. There was no breakfast available but they did have breakfast items in the front desk area. Items like power bars and poptarts. The staff was very friendly helped me figure out some technical difficulties when I first went to check in. All in all I really enjoyed my stay. However ... There is alot of traffic at this hotel. I can tell we were on the bad side of town from the amount of people and lack of teeth I saw but honestly everyone was friendly and I had NO issues at all with my stay.

Very nice rooms, the beds are firm and quite comfy. Room comes with a small fridge nice size bathroom. The staff was amazing and super friendly. Pet friendly. Vicki was super helpful with all my families needs. We will definitely be back.

It's a motel, it was clean, employees were friendly. What more can you ask for? The sink got much much hotter than the shower, which was lukewarm by comparison. I was looking forward to a hot shower, so that was a letdown. Also the microwave was a bit small, and of course you can hear people beeping their horns or walking by all night. That's not necessarily something the motel can control, probably, but it's worth considering if you want a full night's sleep.
