Great place to find your new family member!!!

Impressed with the knowledge and compassion of people who work there n the care they provide for a job that has to be overwhelming n depressing I wish the city would build them a bigger and better place and I wish the people would take care of their dogs so we would never need a place like this

APL goes out of their way to make sure the animals are being placed in permanent homes. Animals are well taken care of given the circumstances. If people would spay and neutered their animals their job would be easier.

Couldn't be happier with our adoption. With the influx of animals and short of volunteers I'm sure they are doing best they can.

The best thing to get answers is to call them. They have all kinds of wonderful dogs.
Any time you spend loving on these animals is wonderful. I'm sure they'd love the attention! ♥️
Yes, if the meet and greet goes well and the dog is already altered you can finish the adoption and take the dog home same day. If the dog is not fixed yet you will have to pick up after surgery.
They normally do. I know where a 3 year old chocolate lab is
I'm not sure. I would call them and ask them just to be safe
5 years ago it was a kill shelter when I turned over a wonderful rottie mix.. bc acc had no one working over weekend I had him stay with me, in my house with my 3 (4 now) dogs, got along great... But a week after they killed him. For playing with a volunteer's hands...
You will need to talk with the manager to see if she will do that. I know someone who made such arrangements for their cat.
I'm not sure. But you do you have to fill out paperwork on your pet, so please don't just don't and run
As long as the dog has food and water, it is legal to have a dog chained. Since you said for hours as opposed to always, the dog is taken in at some point. I had a Madison County Sheriff e-mail me Madison County ordinances in regard to dogs. People have the audacity to stop on the road, in front of this house, and tell me all kinds of craziness about having my dogs chained. But, they are Pitbulls, and I can't afford fencing. It is irritating that people stop and "complain", about the only outside time my dogs get. Stating all kinds of lies that are in their heads, and are not laws and ordinances. Dogs bark... Eventhough that may be an obnoxious problem to you, it is a fact. What if these same neighbors had a swimming pool, and children were laughing and screaming while having an amazing time? Sometimes, although inconvenient, we have to learn to be tolerant of some things. Why don't you go try to comfort the dog? Go buy,, or make it a toy to play with. Don't punish it for being a dog.
Call them or go on during business hours and they call help you fill out the paperwork. If you have shot records or anything else important to your pet, it would be wise to take that with you also.
$20 to $75 depending on the Veterinarian
You can have your cat spayed at APL
My family always set live traps. If the animal is not a domesticated species, you can take it to the country.
I heard that Chesterfield Animal Hospital is pretty reasonable. I found that out from my dental hygienist just last week when I was talking about the bill I received from another vet's office.
APL is at 613 Dewey Street. They are open from 11-5 today. Leave the dogs in your vehicle a staff member will help you get them out. When you go inside to let them know you have found strays they will have a finders form to fill out and will need a copy of your id.
Call the Noblesville Low Cost clinic. They do pickups/dropoffs in the parking lot of APL once a month for a small fee if there is enough participation. They have the lowest spay and neuter prices around.
They don't deliver I think u can adopt online though
You can purchase it at the front desk of the shelter. Bring proof of spay/neuter. I believe it is $4 if fixed and $10 if not.
The city dog park is in front of the shelter where passes can be purchased. It is $15 a year and you must bring copies of vaccination records from your vet.
Yes.
You will need to call police dispatch to have an animal control officer come out.
You might try Noblesville Low Cost. They are going to be cheaper than any local vet.
Call animal protection servaces in indiana and give them the address. They will do an investigation.
The Animal Protection League does not have surgery services. Noblesville Low Cost will be the cheapest around for that. Many vets have stopped declawing due to the pain and behavior problems that follow, you will need to call around to see who still offers the procedure.
Yea
