When you get accepted and you are assigned a schedule to have a meet and greet , can we take the dog home ? After paying and getting all the documents. I have my appointment this Saturday and I’m confused on what to do . I really want the dog:/

Yes, if the meet and greet goes well and the dog is already altered you can finish the adoption and take the dog home same day. If the dog is not fixed yet you will have to pick up after surgery.

It depends on the dog you want to take home. Some of the animals are still waiting on spay/neuter, are recovering from having puppies, et cetera. I took my Valentine home that day. Make sure to bring a leash & collar! :)
