We checked in and could tell the room was barely cleaned. There was food on the floor, food in the fridge that was in there for so long it smelled terrible, plus the fridge was so full it wasn’t even closed or cold. We asked the front desk to change it and to clean up the food that was on the floor by the window, only to come back to the fridge changed out with the old food placed back inside (we told the front desk it was not our food.) we put it in a trash can outside of our door and let them know/asked for something to make the smell in the room better and never got any help with either thing. The full trash bin sat outside of our door for over 24 hours. We understood they were busy but it was just gross and not okay that we weren’t taken care of with how much we paid to stay.

Everything was beyond expectations. By far one of the best hotel experiences I’ve had being in this industry. I cannot express how friendly, helpful, and accommodating the staff were. Also, the food was phenomenal. Everything was hot and fresh; the chef and kitchen took pride in their preparations and paid attention to the details. I’ve been in the industry for over 20 years, and the operations at the Marriott University of Dayton are top-notch!

I had to put in a last minute reservation for my Grandparents later last night and the night manager, Jaclyn was one of the most accommodating, kind, front desk people I have ever worked with. After a mix up on my end, they went to the wrong hotel and she went above and beyond to make sure they got to where they needed to be and let me know they were safe and checked in. I wish I could have put more stars because she made this experience wonderful!

I love this place! I had a warm and friendly greeting, then I got to the room and was overjoyed because it was modern and clean and comfortable! The bathroom was sparkling and the bed was super cozy! I swear, I heard no noise at all during the night. It could be because we were at the end of the hall, but whatever, it was dead quiet and the room was dark, not much light seeping in from the huge window. We also ate in one of the ballrooms and the food and the service was top notch! I won't hesitate coming back!!
