I've never seen a worse post office than this one in uptown. Employees are rude, the manager is rude. As if they hate people and don't want to work. This place should have been closed long ago. There are a lot of incompetent people working there!!! They need to learn how to behave or at least have a clear understanding of what customer service is!!. All of them should be fired, including the manager who is the worst. They are free to do whatever they want. All of them should be unemployed.

Thus far, I have only had good experiences at this USPS location. The staff get the job done and (for the most part) everyone who works here is very kind and accommodating. Whether I'm dropping off a package or requiring stamps, I always get what I need before leaving. It can be busy in this area, so plan accordingly. This part of 181st Street in Washington Heights can be a little chaotic to walk through, particularly if you're coming in on a weekend!

Such a horrible post office. It’s always very very crowded with maybe one person working. It’s unclear what like to stand in, it’s dirty, and everyone working there who I’ve encountered has been nasty and unhelpful. Avoid if you can!

terrible service. falsely scanning items as delivered. lost packages. deliveries not even attempted and they state they did not have a secure location to leave the package when my mom and sick grandma are home all day! i was on hold with usps corporate office for 56 minutes! very unsympathetic and the people at the Washington Bridge office are just simply rude and unprofessional, to put it nicely.
I know my building mail box was broken I had to get the mail once a week and one package was lost for 6 weeks
Yes they do. They do not take applications after 10am I believe. It is best to call before going in.

That's correct. However I do wish I received this answer before I checked it out myself. Lol. Thank you for your reply
