Outrageously rude and ineffective. Employees are not British and do not understand British law or regulations. If you are in need of consular services call anyone else as these people would rather watch you die while screaming "GOV.UK" rather than provide actual help. They should be ashamed.

Mike it depends on which passport you have.If you have a Nigerian passport then you would apply for a Visa through the normal channels. Don't quote me on this but I think the Visa may be issued by the UK embassy in Washington DC. This is where my UK passport was renewed.

Hi folks, the main ATL Consulate line has the same glitch as from a few months ago: It still asks any callers to choose an option for "Consulate Services" if we have a question, but no such option exists. Are we able to call the consulate directly?
