Holiday Inn Express Richmond Airport

I can’t speak to the services offered related to the airport if any. My husband, daughter and I just needed somewhere to stay for the night as we live almost two hours away and didn’t want to drive home after a day trip. We used points for the room after much hassle and conflicting information online vs on the phone. The room was functioning and seemingly clean - however there is a definitely stale smoke smell through out the hotel and the same was true for our room. As other reviews mentioned, the hotel phone didn’t work to ring the front desk and I had to call from my personal phone. (We needed dish soap, which they didn’t have). It was also really loud into late hours of the night so we kept the tv on. Overall, I wouldn’t prefer to stay here again but if I needed somewhere to stay it would do.

We love staying here for early flights the next day out of Richmond. Hotel is modern and clean - staff is always friendly and helpful. Can't beat the airport shuttle which runs super early to super late. We leave our car here - stay and fly package is so great and reasonable. Highly recommend, have stayed here many times - never a disappointment!

Very poor experience. We are traveling across the United States with a pet. On their website it states they are pet friendly so I booked a stay. Once we got there we were turned away because of our poodle. The hotel attendant was very rude and offered little assistance to two weary travelers. Interesting enough when I booked our stay they asked what my dogs name was and her weight, yet they don’t allow pets.

Had a nice stay. Room was cleaned. Evening lady who worked was nice. After 11pm there was no one at the desk for about 30 minutes we waited looked around and gave up. Breakfast lady was helpful very professional and welcoming she made our morning and only reason why I thought to leave a review. Breakfast bar was the best we’ve ever had. Except there was no pancake maker which was the reason why we booked it. So please get the pancake maker back for when we come back to visit.
