I would love to give this place a 5, but it has a few issues. On the plus side, the location is beautiful. Only a few miles to the beach and close to several nature parks. The staff is super friendly, security and staff golf carts are everywhere and it is quiet at night. There are 3 large pools, bathhouses, and lots of activities for both adults and kids. The main issue has been addressed in many other reviews. It's on low land and it gets wet when it rains. We had a couple of frog choking rains and most of the streets got flooded. Riding around we saw that all of the camper pads are raised concrete and dry, so you just park as close as you can to the utility hookup side and you'll have a bit of a patio on your door side if things get wet. The other issue is that they are having major issues with their well. Evidently it got drained earlier this year and while they have applied for a new one, things are going through the approval process slowly. Our first morning the water out of the site feed was dark brown, even with a filter. We figured it might just be an unused site with a little rust buildup, but we let it run for almost a half hour. The filter jammed and the water was still brackish...see photo attached. It did clear up a bit over time, but everyone we talked to says they don't drink the park water, even though it's been cleared by the health dept. We went to Walmart and bought a few large bottles for cooking. We WILL come back again, but we will ask about the new well when we make our reservation.

Great place to go and relax. Everyone is so nice and friendly. They have a lot of things to do fishing, boating, swimming. Just a great time to chill π.

Really liked the looks of it. Not sure about how reservations go yet .bot sure if we are going to be members or bot so reserve the 5 star because of that.

Yes. You bring your own fire pit. They do have wood for sale or you can bring your own.
Everyone pays.
Not real sure Pete, I'm gonna say no , but you can call and ask
They have one cabin type (they call it a bungalow not a wooden cabin but really nice) to rent. Outside of that, they have campers to rent. You do have to be a member or sponsored by member (the member must be down there at the same time you're down there) in order to camp there. It is really nice at that campground.
As a member, you may come in just for the day and use the public facilities such as the pools or launch your boat or fish the canals. You needn't be setup on a camp site for dsy use. Dues are not cheap but less than the swim club fees in VB.
No.
You can get one easily on Craigslist for the $30 deed transfer fee. Dues are currently $875 a year with a $3 a day usage fee to cover electric, water, and sewage. If you get the deed directly from Indian Cove, I believe it's $1000 and covers the deed and also the first year's dues.
Tents are allowed but must be on site with an RV. Must be an owner or guest of an owner to stay at IRC or be a member of Coast to Coast.
