I went in for a warranty replacement for a tool set that failed. The lifetime guarantee printed on the box said "if your husky hand tool ever fails, bring it back to the store for a free replacement" I went to the customer service desk and stated why I was there. She took one look at the tool box and said it was neglect. She said I was lying about how the tools got damaged and that Husky tools would not honor the warranty (Husky is a Home Depot brand, Home Depot honors the warranty) Leaving this location disrespected, angry and empty-handed, I went to a different Home Depot location where I was treated with respect and they honored the warranty no problem ($180 tool set)
