This was an amazing experience. Terri and the staff were so welcoming. They take great care of their rescued horses. I am not a history buff but I could listen to Terri tell stories all day. She has an incredible amount of knowledge! This is a day I won't forget!!

Do you offer any rides for guests who would like to Canter?

Hello and thank you for contacting our stables. Neither the National Park Service nor our Insurance Agency allows horses to go any faster than a walk on battlefield trails. So we are not permitted to take our riders any beyond that.

I think it was $106 per person total (gratuity included.) Most of the charge goes to the rescue. They are a non profit.

As far as camping yeah you can call the office and one of the girls in the office could give you an answer to your reservation questions riding we no longer do that and there is no longer guided tours from the campground
