BOTH of my Parents were handled by this business and yes DEATH is a business. They preformed services for my father ( my brother handled that ) when my mother went to join him 5 years later they were thier ready to help . Once hospice did thier proceedures, Adams-Green was right behined to clean up the deatils AT THE HOUSE . Staff asked me what i NEEDED and i explained the situation and would need a few days. Decisions were made in advance ( like a year or so ) which they knew ; so everything went smooth. This is a process, Customers and Realatives fail to remember that . End of life decisions are not discussed at the dinner table in this country . ADAMS-Green took aload off our shoulders in terms of paperwork and gov't bureaucratic requirements when it comes to death . Staff explained to me what i needed to finnish and gave me a guide of tasks ( i took notes ) that would be my responsibilty to complete. i cant give a rating any higher the 5 but 10 stars would be close .

Very Poor in answering basic questions, you run a business that deals with people in a distraught state the least you can do is be nice. Scott was very Rude and acted childish at my time of crisis more concerned about the money than our needs. I would not give them my business and neither should you..

I made appointments with three funeral homes to discuss funeral services for my daughter. When I called to cancel the Adams-Green appointment (we wanted a place closer to Richmond) Adams-Green informed me that they had already taken possession of my daughter's remains, without my authorization, and there would be a $480 charge for their time and trouble if I chose to use another funeral home. It was insensitive, illegal, and disgusting. At least the hospital stepped up and took responsibility for their part in the debacle. I cannot say the same about Adams-Green.

What we all hope for are good memories when a beloved dies. Thanks for all Adams-Green did when my sister died. Thank you, again. My sister died in 2011.
