I was sitting with my service dog in Crab Du Jour on Roanoke having dinner with my son when I was approached by a man who claimed to work with the health dept. he said he had proof but didn’t show it. He refused to give me any location except Richmond. He had been drinking and had a woman with him. He demanded to know why I had a dog in a restaurant. I told him she is a service animal. He then demanded that I provide a registration and proof that she is a service animal, which is strictly against the policy for ADA. I showed him my proof and he continued to then drink with his ‘date’ while slurring his words. If this is the kind of people who work for this dept, I feel sorry for Virginia health services. His name is Alex Marshall. Unless that’s a fake name. Keep in mind, he was a patron of the restaurant and did not work for it himself.

Information hard to find, not complete anymore. Used to give localized cases, but now "streamlined," I've searched endlessly and can't find such. I think streamlined means less info.

I have been sick since Sunday, January 9, 2022. Was finally able to receive a COVID-19 test on January 11, 2002. ( after many difficulties). The link sent to me, Friday, January 14, 2022, after 5pm contains my test results and does not work. Now my husband is ill and has the same problem with receiving his test results. There is no help online or by phone. And Monday is a Holiday. I can only imagine the number of Central Virginia residents that have this same problem. Very discouraged with the way this has been handled.

No COVID tests available locally. Checked VDH site and found a public test site open one hour away. Drove there. They offer them this day of the week, but were closed for the holiday. Came home, and still had VDH site on computer showing that they were doing testing there today. But not. Would it be hard to change the publicly available schedule when the department is taking an extended holiday break (during a dramatic surge in cases)? Very poor public health service.

Go to any full-service Virgnia DMV, any local health department (Google “Virgnia local heath department locator”), the Division of Vital Records on Maywill Street (not Mayland) in Richmond, or online at Vitalcheck Network.

Assuming you mean polio. Yes, if you attended school in Virginia, you would have been required to have polio vaccination.
No, you must contact SSA for replacement social security services.
By the end of the month

Google Virginia Vital Records and Birth Certificates. Just make sure you click on the link for the Virginia Department of Health. You can find contact information there
Anyone who has received a tattoo from an unlicensed tattoo artist should contact their local health department or medical provider to be tested for Hepatitis C or other blood-borne illnesses. Reports of suspected unlicensed tattooing should be made to their local police department of sheriffs office.
