Awful Unacceptable Experience! DO NOT GO HERE!!!!!!!!! I gifted a Dear Friend a Full Body Massage at this Location on Saturday, September 17, 2022 very With specific add-ons including Enhanced Muscle Therapy and a Exfoliating Foot Massage. This was his first massage and I was hoping that it would be Special and Memorable. To My Dismay, He informed me that it was obvious that the technician was inept at performing her Job and his massage was deduced to a light back rub. He was Told to keep his pants on. He felt that the technician did NOT want to Touch Him. He stated that she gave him a light back rub. There was specific pressure on any part of his body. Furthermore, she allowed him to leave the Spa Wet With the oils She Used for the Rub. I paid $145 for this service and expected my friend to have An Effective Massage that Would Relieve Stress that he had been experiencing. Also, he had been involved in a car accident the night before, and the massage would have helped tremendously! This Is UNACCEPTABLE Service. I am So Disappointed that My Friend had A Bad Experience! I’ve Left Two Messages and No one from this Spa Has Contacted Me nor Him For An Apology! I believe that I should receive A Full Refund! have Spoken to A very Efficient and Professional Manager from the Midtown Spa Who has promised to rectify this Situation. **Update- This location has improved and been going there off and on since the pandemic. Germantown is better now. I do not recommend the Gaithersburg location. Poor customer service. It's been this way for a long while.** I was getting 3 massages here a month. However after my experience with Katie and her lack of customer service I will not be back and will be seeking a refund from future massages. Places forget that they should be appreciative of my business not the other way around. There's plenty of places to get a massage.

DO NOT ENTER A CONTRACT, as a matter of fact, just don’t go at all!!! You have to book appointments months in advance. If you miss a contractual payment, they freeze your account so that you can’t make appointments, even if you have several months worth of credits in your account. They house a lot of students and recent graduates, many lack experience, so it is a waste of money and time. If they offered discounted prices to see a student or graduate, it would be more reasonable. I have been to many locations, and it’s the same across all, they are certainly overpriced for the services they provide, or lack there of.

Here's the thing with massage envy. Inconsistent, some of the massage therapists are pretty good and then they fall off the hill. Evidently they're training must not be up to par. And I must not be away to keep up with therapists and how they are with the clients. With that said some of the customers must be okay with a subpar massage. With my hard work and money I want what I asked for and I want a massage therapist that's knowledgeable not someone that just put their hands on you and call it a massage. Basically you get what you ask for here but don't be surprised when the massage therapist gives a below average massage.
