Historical B&O station, now operated by MARC. This station is in such a convenient location. Parking spaces are free but get filled quickly in rush hour. If you live in germantown or somewhere near you can take a bus to the station. MARC trains are faster than metro, so if you need to get to work fast you can ride MARC to Washington. If you are a railfan, MARC, Amtrak, and CSX trains pass by. I like this station a lot.

I live right next to the MARC Station, in the Liberty Mill Apartments. It's so convenient being able to walk out my front door and walk onto the tracks in 4 minutes and not having to worry about finding a parking spot (parking is very tight and almost always completely full). My only gripe with the MARC is I wish it ran more frequently throughout the day. However overall it's very convenient being able to take the MARC down to my job in Shady Grove each day.
