I took the 9:30 bus from Port Authority on 9/24 to Washington DC. Our driver Lois was amazing! She focused on getting passengers safely to DC. She made it clear, in no uncertain terms, that each passenger had the responsibility to respect fellow passengers and to refrain from speaking aloud or engaging in other behaviors that were distracting to the driver and inconsiderate of other passengers. She held everyone accountable! It was great to ride in peace! She commanded the respect of passengers and not to mention, her competence as a driver was demonstrated from the start of the journey to the end!

I would give 0 stars honestly. Ridiculous customer support. I had booked ticket to NYC but could not travel due to an urgent family emergency, someone close to me passed away. I got a very rude response from Danielle, Customer Support just pointing me to the policy that because I had non refundable tickets, I could not get a credit. Looks like that's how they want to do business and earn profits -> pathetic and horrible. Also, please work on your customer relations.

To live close to a metro station is a big win for me, but to have a bus that goes from Silver Spring to NYC is a definite plus! I was thrilled to discover that Peter Pan Bus Lines had a stop at Silver Spring Station and I didn't have to rush to the trains to get to DC to make it to the bus on time. This company is a blessing, to be sure! The drivers are courteous, professional, and do their jobs well. And the bus is well-equipped with comfortable seats, outlets for chargers and plugs, and big enough windows to look out of when driving past different cities and states. I would like to make a couple of suggestions: I would appreciate it if there's separate bus lines for Maryland (specifically Baltimore and Silver Spring) and DC due to the bus being crowded to the point of overflowing when I get on from NYC, and it makes me uncomfortable having strangers sit next to each other when there's a pandemic going on. Even if there's a mandatory mask policy, you don't know the person's vaccination status or where they've been when they get on the bus, and I fear for those who are immunocompromised and elderly who rely on the buses to get to and from their destinations. I also discovered on my recent trip back from NYC that none of the outlets worked on the bus and none of us were notified of this, which caused my phone to die on the trip. (Thankfully, I had ear plugs to block out much of the surrounding sounds.) If there's anything that isn't working or other important information that needs to be expressed by the driver alongside the rules of no smoking & drinking, keeping cell phones silent and headphones in, it would be a big help to us passengers who may need to figure out the best way to conserve power on our technological devices should the outlets not work. Other than that, I definitely plan on using this service again. Happy travels!
