My father recently passed away at the age of 98. Everyone that I have dealt with and spoken to at Francis J. Collins Funeral Home has been kind, compassionate, professional, quick to respond, and exceptional in every aspect. Never once did I feel that they were trying to take advantage of my family or oversell us. Joseph explained my options clearly and never pressured me to spend more on my father’s burial than I wanted or needed to. They have followed up — even after all the bills were paid — to see how I was doing and if our family needed any support, emotional or otherwise. They treated my family with dignity and respect. They are a first class organization. I would recommend them to any grieving family without hesitation.

The Collins Funeral Home took loving care of our mother’s remains and Melanie especially helped us through a sorrowful time. She couldn’t have been more considerate of all of our wishes and we are so appreciative.

Derek was very supportive. I have never dealt with a loss of a family member before and losing my mom was the worse. But Derek made it so easy for me and my family. There is nothing we had to worry about he walked us right through it. It was a beautiful service and it went off without any flaws. He took care of everything handed me an envelope at the end With the pictures on it and the music, and stayed in touch with me afterwards to make sure I was OK and that meant a lot to my family and I. He has become part of our family now. And I appreciate that very much. I wouldn’t go anywhere else. They did a wonderful job and amazing job on the way my mom looked she was so beautiful and she looks so natural. I was afraid to see her at first but she looked herself and it made it so much easier. And I have to think Derek for that because we did not have a picture he had to go by what I had said. She didn’t let us take a lot of pictures after she lost her hair to cancer and he nailed it. Right down to the color lipstick. And dad is talking about coming in and getting all his stuff planned before he pass’s away since it was such an easy process to do with mom. Thank you for everything.
