How can l get a visa to travel to Nigeria
Take bus to Port Authority. Exit the building and walk towards 42nd Street. Take M42 towards east side (U.N. plaze). Get off at 1 Ave, (last stop) Walk 4 blocks south to 38th street and turn right. Or follow directions in Google maps for bus. (Easiest way)
I believe the process is taking longer than usual for applying or renewing passport. It take almost a year and if u don't hear from anyone just call in between hrs of 9 am to noon only mon thru friday
Assuming you're an American citizen then from my experience you don't need a visa. I have been there many time, last time being last year for Christmas. What you will need is return ticket and a passport that valid for at least 6 months and has empty pages in it plus an address of where you'll be staying when there. When you arrive at the airport in South Africa you are eligible for up to 90 days entry, I think they call it a port of entry visa or something like that. Also there are no specific shots that you have to get. South Africa is fortunate to not be a malaria country and you can drink the water from the tap etc. Durban is warm and humid in Feb so mostly I'd say pack summer clothes and enjoy. All of this information should be easy to check through a google search of travel agents and the SA website. Hope this helps
Am a green card holder, how can I get a visa?
No
Check the website abs it lists each office I usually call mine in NYC and they direct me
US Citizens who plan to visit South Africa will soon be able to request a South African visa online. The new eVisa process is destined to speed up the visa system for South Africa. It is a new visa protocol that many nations have begun to adopt in order to facilitate travel documentation and authorization for travelers. https://www.southafricavisa.com/evisa-requirements/us-citizens/
If you can get any contact with them, try to contact an travel agency or any agency that handles foreign documentation if you that's your case.

Unless you have a notarized document granting you full legal custody of your daughters (if they are minors) , you will need other documentation to get into South Africa. South Africa is very strict about this. Check the official government website for the documents you will need to have with you.
I don't see any issues but my experience is pretty bad..most the times my sister in Capetown never got the stuff or stuck in customs forever...
Took about 6months and a week for mine from application date to arrival by mail.
If you are willing to wait for 6 months or more, sure you can apply for a new passport at the NY Consulate. Visit the website to see the requirements. If you cannot wait that long I would advise that you apply in South Africa. Processing time at Home Affairs SA is a week or 2.
