There are so many aspects of this platform that work against the drivers & make it too difficult for the riders when it actually matters. Mistakes often do not fit into their app options & it is not really possible to get ahold of someone. Safety/driver issues within the moment; leaving a tip a few days later being impossible; the list goes on. So much opportunity but such an underwhelming platform.

BEWARE!!! Company falsely accuses riders of damage and refuses to listen or refund. A few hours after my ride I received an email that I was being charged $80 dollars for spilled coffee. I didn’t even have coffee or any beverage! I went through the process to dispute the charge, could not speak to a human, and only message I got was that after careful evaluation no change will be made to claim. WORST company ever. Also ride felt unsafe and driver was very rude. Never riding with Lyft again.

Call them

My daughter called lyft to pick her up on March 18,2019. The money was taken out of my account at 12:33 am. The driver never came and my account was charged. How do I retrieve my money back?

You have to contact them so they can give you a refund if you haven't already. They are normally good on refunds.

Can I get help in person by someone that understand why the app is malfunctioning?
