Bought a ticket to see Tom Felton: Beyond the Wand and didn't get a seat assigned to me as it said that the box office would assign it the day of the event. little did I know, the box office offers TodayTix those seats no one wants and no one buys so I got a terrible seat at the far back of the venue. I'm so disappointed as I was very excited to get a decent seat as I was waiting, to just get a horrible location knowing that the venue does have more seats available. My recommendation is: do not buy tickets from todhytix if the don't let you pick the seat yourself as you'll probably get bad seats and you can't cancel the tickets or get a refund. purchase directly from the event site. Might be a few dollars more expensive but I think is better to pick exactly where you want to be seating.

A little shady. If they can’t get the tickets they promise you (which does happen), they will bump you into a different area without providing details until the day before the performance. The new seats could be much worse than the ones you paid for. I emailed their customer service repeatedly when this happened to me, but they refused to provide any information. When I complained and asked for a refund, they made a big fuss before finally agreeing. They’re probably not worth the risk, stress, and hassle.

App glitched leading to purchase of ticket for a completely different show. Called customer support immediately. Was accused of lying and then hung up on. Don’t understand what the end game would be for me in that scenario but sure… very unpleasant experience. Not enthusiastic about using this service again

You can purchase several months in advance! Initially it was only day of but now tickets are available through the year on some shows.

Debra - You can just go to www.todaytix.com and when you register, use your email and a new password to create your account. You don't have to use Facebook to authenticate. Hope this is helpful.
I think I had to show ID when I picked up tickets. Website does say that you can alter the name on the tickets, the email is then resent to them. Don't think ID is checked on entrance to theatre so that might be a route around the problem, if there is one.
Yes, if you order 3 tickets on one order. No if you order it separately. For example one order of one ticket and second order with two.
