This place sucks, military establishment. Most patients are just trying to get decent discharge papers from military. They don’t care about anyone anymore. Just collecting money.

Even applying was a hard step for me. After being candid on the phone interview, I was told a day later that the program for which I signed up for and was recommended to by a friend who had good experiences there, I was told that they won't help me "in my current state" and that I would need to attend the 45 day, $70,000 in-patient program. All because I'm suffering from bipolar disorder, I have a drink with dinner and I smoke pot... I wouldn't have reached out to a place like this if I were in perfect mental health, but apparently one has to be a puritan to be admitted into one of their 5 day workshops. What a grift. They clearly don't care about people, only money.

Please do not be fooled by the beautiful pictures or the reputation of the senior fellows.My experience at The Meadows was horrific! For starters they completely mismanaged my medications and as a result I experienced terrible side effects which left me in bed for days. I went there to resolve trauma only to be further traumatized by the negligent doctors, nurses and therapists. When I finally was able to get out of bed I went to group therapy for trauma work. In the group therapy the other patients dominated the discussion and I never even had an opportunity to share. I addressed this with the therapist and she said they do not have individual sessions that everyone processes in group. My needs were completely disregarded. I left the program after only a week. If you are reading this review likely you are seeking treatment or to help someone else find it. You will not find it here!
