The barrier in which a patient is going through withdrawal, and can only explain to the staff how it feels, makes you feel as if they think you are exaggerating. Your mind isn't clear and you are desperate to feel better. They meet people at the most vulnerable time in their life. So, a patient has to trust in the facility and medical staff, blindly. I transferred from another clinic that was a revolving door for councilors, and left you to continue to open up and start over with each new councilors. So I came here without much of a trust, it would be different. I was standoffish and jumped into conclusions it was a mistake. They gave me patience and understanding. I'm glad I did. As it turns out to be better than anything thing I had imagined. I misjudged and feel terrible for being hateful. I'm grateful for their help and understanding

Staff is incredibly caring, and genuinely want to help the patients. Addiction affects all aspects of a person’s life. Winchester CTC helps to overcome the hurdles of addiction, allowing patients to reclaim their lives. Will recommend to everyone still struggling.
