I don’t think I would have been able to get sober at any other treatment center. Bridging the Gaps isn’t your typical 30 day facility. It encapsulates a long-term layout that, if completed, increases chances of long-term sobriety significantly. I was forced to go to treatment by family members and was NOT happy to be in treatment (AGAIN) when I first arrived. In my first 30 days, the length of most treatment centers, I barely spoke a word. If I had completed the program at that point I know I would have continued using afterwards. It wasn’t until the second and third months that I was able to open up and really do the work I needed to do to overcome my addiction. I continued with the rest of the program afterwards which takes about a year in total. It’s not easy but it works, it’s an investment in yourself. I’ve been sober 5+ years now. At BTG you aren’t just another patient in a revolving door of constant admissions and discharges. There’s no “flying under the radar” here. You, as an individual, are going to get the time and attention and individualized focus you deserve whether you want it or not. Highly recommend, if I had a family member in need of help I’d send them here.

I attended last August. So the Rona had us locked down most the time. Almost got a year sober now. Not that I give BTG a lot of credit for that. I knew the rules going into this place so the no sugar and caffeine sucked but that was part of the deal. It's rehab, not a vacation. I understood that. From my experience, the counselors to seem to want to help. But BTG is a business first and foremost, a recovery center second. I think a lot of the counselors were frustrated by this when I was there too. I did not connect with my counselor but good luck getting them to take that into consideration. All in all an okay experience, WAY overpriced in my opinion, you don't get what you told on the webpage, but that may have been the RONAS fault. The stars are really for the few counselors that seem like the genually want to help.

Worst treatment ever. Go find out for yourself if you want more explanation...

They don’t allow any sugar or caffeine which I found ridiculous plus the treatment meets were boring and repetitive, they’ll treat you like a child. One of the councilors, Brian, (once I discharged myself to attend a funeral) literally told me to leave the property right then and there not even allowing me to make a phone call to ask my ride her eta and wouldn’t allow me to walk to the sober house to collect my possessions despite two prior clients discharging from the sober house a few days before... Literally the worst treatment center I’ve ever been too. Extremely overpriced. The only good thing is the exercise and group AA meets done outside of actual program and 1 massage. Half the staff members were great but a handful should really work in different fields.

We have 3 residential homes that are all quite charming and unique. Each home is located within the town of Winchester, VA in safe, walkable neighborhoods. One house has a lovely, big back yard and another sits across the street from a park.
We do accept United Healthcare. For questions about your specific insurance coverage, please reach out to our admissions director. We would be happy to work with you about your specific needs.
We do not have a set amount of time for our inpatient program. We work with each client to create a personalized treatment plan, and the time spent at each level of care will vary based on each person's specific needs. We provide a unique opportunity for individuals to remain in one of our sober supported living houses beyond the typical 30-day program. To learn more about how our program may best serve you or your loved one, please reach out to our admissions director.
At this time we do not have any full scholarships available. We do accept most major insurance.
We do encourage 12 step participation. In our residential program, the clients attend daily meetings and are asked to work with a sponsor. We encourage building a sober support network and continuing meetings at the outpatient level.
Our program includes a full continuum of care including residential, day treatment, IOP, and outpatient services. We are in-network with Anthem and TriCare and work with most other major insurance companies as well. Please reach out to our admissions director for more information about your specific needs.
Give us a call to talk about availability. Our admissions director would be happy to answer any questions and share with you the steps to take to enroll in our program.
