Richard is absolutely wonderful and I truly cannot recommend him enough! I saw my first rheumatologist over 20 years ago and had written them off five years ago after 15 years of worthless treatments and no help. Richard is the first rheumatologist who has not only helped, but has made a considerable and positive changes in my care and symptoms. He genuinely cares and is very observant and patient, which is incredibly helpful as a diagnostician since people with chronic pain and disorders can -- and do -- dissociate from their symptoms and be completely unaware of issues even while complaining about said issues. He also keeps up on new treatments and uses alternative therapies to provide well rounded treatment and not just throw you on more and more medication. To address some of the negatives comments others have made: -The office staff is SO MUCH better now! When I first started seeing him it was so bad that if Richard wasn't as fantastic as he is, I would have stopped seeing him. -You might infrequently wait a bit for your appointment, but it's because he gives everyone great care. If he is running behind (and this truly doesn't happen often), it's because someone else is getting extra care that they need -- the same way he gives you extra care when you need. He also cannot possibly be in this for the money as the amount of face-to-face time you get on a regular basis and on days he's running on time is considerably more than with any other medical professional I've seen, so he's not packing in as many patients as possible per hour. He is truly one of a kind and I will forever be grateful for him and the person who told me about him.

Dr. Horne is a great Dr. and very personable. He listens and gives excellent recommendations on things to help you make your condition more manageable. I am so grateful to my family doctor for recommending Dr. Horne, he was definitely the right choice for me.

This office is absolutely Horrible! Don't waste your time! They do not have technology and never answer the phone or call you back. I actually give no stars and wish I put up a warning flag.

I have seen rheumatology off and on over the last 15 years. Every single one missed my diagnosis. A colleague of mine was the one who identified what I have. I brought my concerns, most recent labs, and notes from the previous provider to Richard. He sat, reviewed what I brought, and really listened. He gave me a sample of a treatment and after having been in pain daily for the last 10 years and really probably longer than that, I went an entire day without having pain. It was unbelievable. And also frustrating that previous providers did not catch this auto immune issue and it wouldn’t have destroyed my joints as much as they have now. I am incredibly grateful that I came here and have actually sent some of my own patients to Richard.
