The seafood appetizers were exquisite. The fish tasted really fresh. My favorite was the salmon with pumpkin puree. It was sooo good! We ordered the takoyaki and it was gone before I could take a picture! My little picky eater ate 3 of them. We also ordered lamb chops and it was cooked perfectly (medium rare). The interior of the restaurant was clean and modern. I will be coming back.

Clean/nice interior, great sushi (had omakase; great quality fish; strongly recommended) and very friendly staff, chef and owner. My wife and I had an amazing time at Makizushico. This is our most favorite sushi restaurant in Denver!

Overall perfect! I have zero complaints with this restaurant and from beginning to end it was a great experience. I want to start off by saying the establishment itself is beautifully done. From the bamboo walls to the Lofi playing softly in the background it’s just a chill place to be. As far as the rolls my wife and I ordered, we could not pick a favorite due to the fact they were all amazing in their own unique way. We have found out, at least here in Colorado that even in good establishments that the rolls typically all taste very similar which invalidates the point of getting different styles. Not here! They were all equally amazing and looked beautiful. Finally, customer service was top notch and the food came out in a very timely manner. Granted we were the only ones there at that time of the day. If you are thinking about checking this place out then wait no longer. I’m happy to throw my money at a place that is deserving and this place sure is!
