We originally went to use the golf driving range (which they don't have there) but found other things to do. It's a very clean and well kept park. Two thumbs up 👍 👍

There are a few tables outside the gazebos and also a few other spaces in the park. Pretty sure there are 2 or 3 near but outside the Twin Shelters and bathrooms there with the shelters. Toddler playground near the twin shelters also has a couple tables near it.
At the gardens that I know of
Most city parks close at dusk, 7pm or 11pm. If you are trying to go to the festival of lights you should plan on being in line for a very long time. I do believe the festival ends at 9 however.
You can park by the tennis courts, the conservatory, there is a small parking lot by the play ground. As for walking, if you start at the tennis courts. You walk about 2 miles all the way down to the other end. It will be by the old boat launch. Hope this helps.
Restrooms are at a pavilion adjacent to the Nicholas Conservatory greenhouse!
