You can park by the tennis courts, the conservatory, there is a small parking lot by the play ground. As for walking, if you start at the tennis courts. You walk about 2 miles all the way down to the other end. It will be by the old boat launch. Hope this helps.
If you are talking about the snow sculptures you would have to park on a side street. Thinking back there was no where else to park. If you can get into Sinnisppi there are several areas in the park you can park. If you are speaking about the bike path there are several parking areas to start from. Hope this helped.
