10/10, 15/10. It’s great! Before I continue explaining why I enjoyed my time, I will say that this park is not very large, so it’s more of a mid day quick-ish activity. NOW, I love the boulder field, it’s amazing, and quite literally a ton of boulders going down very far. You bring your own hammer and just hit some rocks, and they truly create different sounds! If you keep walking, you get to see a waterfall. I went when it rained in the morning, so the water was FLOWING. Beautiful environment, worth visiting, you don’t need the whole day, great mini adventure.

If you park at the trailhead it could use some more signs to get you to the Ringing Rock park. Make sure you cross the road and head up hill. The waterfall is almost better than the rining rocks, some are duds. You really more than one person with a hammer to make some fun noises. All in all worth the trip.

Took the kids for some ringing rock fun didn’t know about the bonus waterfall till we got there, got to love waterfalls so pretty. Recommend this park to all but especially kids the trail is short enough for them and they get to bang on rocks with hammers and once they get bored of that they can see a beautiful waterfall, the trail gets a bit mucky so be mindful as to wear boots or shoes you don’t care about and even a spare pair in the car to change into as to not get your floors covered in mud. Enjoy!

We visited Ringing Rocks Park on October 20, 2021. It was the most perfect day for the adventure…75 degrees, clear and sunny. The leaves were just starting to change which made our pictures look beautiful. Unfortunately the waterfall was dry because of the lack of rain. That was the only drawback…we were hoping to see the waterfall flowing. I’m sharing pictures/video of the ringing rocks at Boulder field. We saw chipmunks in the rock field and there were snakes along the trails as we were warned by others there (be careful). That was pretty cool!! The trails were pretty clear although you still had to watch where you were walking or you could trip on the rocks sticking up. There was a nice picnic area in the parking lot which really made it nice because we were prepared with lunch and a tablecloth. There were two portable bathrooms there (for emergencies 😀). We found the reviews of others to be very helpful regarding the trails, picnic area, and demographics as they brought us right to the park. We hope you enjoy our photos too.

No! This park is about the rocks. The boulder field IS NOT pet friendly and especially not pet friendly for humans. No way in hell will you be able to clean up after your dog out in the boulder field. No one wants to climb on or around your dog's filth. Don't do it. Don't even try.
Trails are easy but small kids won't be able to climb on the rock field where the good rocks are. Also, waterfall area is quite dangerous so keep them close.
Any kind of hammer will work. Not much effort is needed to create the ringing.
I doubt enough rain, I was there the end of August and it would have taken a lot of rain to fix it, it was dry.
Yes
Yes there are picnic table just in the area where you park. Its a pretty little area for having a meal or snack. I cant recall if there are grills in that area.
No way they're too big. Plus, it's a county park.
Lots of walking paths around the rock field, but no paths in the rock field. You can get down to the waterfall from the paths following the paths around the rock field.
Too many roots and rocks on the path, so it would be extremely difficult.
Yes, if you follow the logging trails from what Google reports. Have fun!
I'm not sure but if you go about 10 minutes south you can camp at Ralph Stover
A little rock won't have the ring like the boulders, the boulders are about half the size of a a Honda Civic. Also bring eye protection when you go!! If you hit boulder with hammer chips will fly off.
It's further down the creek from the falls. It's only visible when the water is high enough to cover that part of the exposed bedrock.
I posted a few pictures. They should be available when you search for Ringing Rocks.
This facility is BYOH.
Think of ringing rock park as a giant oven. The bed of rocks will cook you in hot weather.
Not at the location, but there may be nearby campgrounds...
From the parking lot, take the left side path. It leads only to the rocks. The rock field is large and open clearing. Look for the rocks that look white topped from numerous hammers.
