I have been a volunteer for 11 years at In-Sync and there is not a better rescue facility for exotic cats in the North Dallas area. The animals receive the best care, the facility is very well maintained and the staff are the best at caring for the animals. I highly recommend visiting. Fall is the perfect time too because the cats are more active.

The website doesn't directly list the cats by name (there is a link to photo galleries on their flikr), but both Sheila and Khan were there when I last visited on JUL-19. 😁
Always I'm sure. I think my wife told me that he uses a new one every day.
Yes! Mail it to the address on the In-sync website. Note that it needs to be animal-friendly (no buttons, fringe, zippers, etc). Lambert was raised in a private home and slept with blankets. He had difficulty adjusting to In-Sync and the big cats (he was only 3 months old!), so they gave him blankets to sleep with. He doesn't tear them up or chew them, so it became a habit. A very cute habit.
Yes they are and depending the animal you need a permit
It is a suggested donation of 12...it is worth so much more though. The cats are so beautiful! Hope you have as much fun as we did
Yes
No, I just went to this place on Saturday. When we got there they offered bug spray and I used it on my 13 year old girl and my 5 year Olds arms and legs. However when we were getting ready to leave I noticed his leg had two big swollen bumps on it. Obviously he got bite by something. This morning those two bites had become blisters and his leg was swollen. I wanted to know if anyone else has experienced this, or maybe it occurs often and they know what it is.
It sure is and make sure to wear boots if its rained atall that week
Umbrellas scare the cats so we do not allow them. There are 85 pecan trees on the property and almost everything is already shared
I'm not sure. I only visited there.
Masks are required when inside the Visitor Center and any time you are within 6 feet of one of our cats.
Do you accept wild bobcats? There are a couple of black kittens which I understand is rare in our community (north of Aubrey TX near Prosper
They ask for a donation of $8 per child and $12 per adult. They also have a gift shop with lots of cool stuff to see as well as drinks and snacks. All goes to support the rehab facility.
there are goats and a horse. you can pet the horse. im not sure about the goats
They tell you there's no charge, and then when you get there they tell you there's a required "donation" of $12 per person.
Yes they want the mask worn by anyone over the age of 3
Walk freely. It is wide open. They even have golf carts for handicap (they did last year). Huge wall of memories of cats that were there since it opened.
Adults pay $12 and I don't remember how much for children. The fees are well worth it for the care they provide for these animals.
There are many trees and spots to step into shade.
I belive they are open to the public on weekends.
You can pay online too! Just show evidence of the receipt. 😊
I believe that the recommended donation is 12$
This is a "big cat" rescue park. They do have visitation like a zoo, which is wonderful, but the main goal is rescuing animals from unqualified people who purchase illegal or show animals, but become overwhelmed or treat the animals poorly.
You should be able to find what you're looking for here: https://www.insyncexotics.org/volunteer/
Sat and Sun 11-6.
No. This is a sactuary for rescued big cats. The cats are not trained or tamed for public interaction. Regsrdless of this, I HIGHLY recommend still going, even with children.
What type of turtle does she have?
For the larger events like the pumpkin toss or the Easter egg hunt there is food for sale (usually hotdogs, brats, nachos, and popcorn). Otherwise there are small snacks and drinks in the visitor center.
Part of the reason In-Sync exists is because of places that breed exotic cats for petting zoos. This is animal cruelty. It seems fun, but the cats are abandoned when they are too big to play with. Cats born in captivity cannot survive in the wild and have to be rescued and cared for the rest of their lives. THESE ARE NOT PETS!
Which event are you requesting information about? Here is the upcoming event schedule: July 14 Melon Toss, 1pm-3pm August 11 Pancake Breakfast, 7am-10am August 18 Painting with a Twist, 2pm-4pm
We open at 11:00 AM on Sat and Sun only. Suggested donation is $12.00 for adults, kids $6.00, under three free. We have picnic tables so you are certainly welcome to bring human food. No alcohol allowed however.
Sat. May 12th 7am-10am CDT
You can see them closely but not so you can touch them.... Needless to say, be careful as they can spray you.
Up to 82 cats, you can get really close. Diablo and lucifer are my favorite!
We will be open on that Friday from 11am to 5 pm. Thank you
They go through almost 400 lbs of meat every day so if you can afford to donate more than what they suggest, please do.
From their website. Requested Donation: Adult (13-64) – $12 Child (4-12) – $8 Senior (65+) – $8 Under 3 – FREE
16?? That is ridiculous. These high school children shluld not be allowed to do anything with these animals considering the fact that they have NO DEGREE in wildlife biology, animal behavior or zoology. This is a career not a petting zoo!!
