Is there food to purchase to eat there? Or do we need to pack a lunch?

For the larger events like the pumpkin toss or the Easter egg hunt there is food for sale (usually hotdogs, brats, nachos, and popcorn). Otherwise there are small snacks and drinks in the visitor center.

They do have a commissary with snacks,Wylie is only about 5 minutes away. I would recommend Taco Delight,it's fairly inexpensive and great food with uncommonly larger portions.😊

There is no food available for purchase. You probably won't be there long enough to need to break for lunch. Bring water if its a hot day, and then go into town for lunch when you're done.
