I bought a beautiful lamp at the close of the day on 9/30/22. Upon carrying it out, I recognized that the lamp was broken. Unfortunately, because the doors were already locked I couldn't take it back into the store, but did run into a associate in the parking lot. The associate indicated that we could call first thing in the morning and they would either work on finding a new one or give me a discounted rate on the broken lamp. I called immediately after the opening hours and talked to the original sales associate. He indicated that I could return the item, but would not give a discounted rate. He looked to see if there were any others in a different location, but indicated he was too busy to call and verify if that item was available. Not pleased with the quality of product or the customer service.

Talsma’s has the best quality for the money in Grand Rapids. The bargain stores carry junk that’s not much if any less expensive. The higher end stores want 2-3 times more for similar items. I really like the addition of the more contemporary store.
