Took the Hieroglyphic Trail and was not disappointed.At the end was a stream with butterflies and beautiful views.Definitely wear hiking boots.

Beautiful hike. Lots of amazing scenery and vegetation. The hike is fairly easy with a steady uphill climb. Bring lots of water. Saw a mountain lion at the beginning of the trailhead when we were leaving, around 7 am. It was very cool!

Big parking lot with access to really nice desert trails. Good for hiking & mountain biking. Wonderful mix of easy, intermediate and difficult trails for mountain bikers. Most trails are on the Trailforks app if you want to mtb there. I imagine they're also great hiking trails. Lots of desert fauna, animals and the views with the mountains in the background are beautiful. 2 porta-potty's at the parking lot which is better than nothing.
