Such a great hike. It was challenging but not too hard. The cave tunnel that you can see after reaching the top continue on for .12 miles that was cool. Great views from several points on the way up.

There is a porta toilet I guess
Always busier on the weekends & 10 would be midmorning when likely the lot would be full. I agree likely would need to park in the neighborhood. I went at 10 a.m. on week day & lot was nearly full at that time.
Javalina trail. You can get to it from the parking lot on 46th street south of Baseline. Follow the trail that leaves the west side of the lot (starts as Mormon trail)
