Not awful but not great. Most of the staff at the front desk were great but the first person I encountered was less than polite or kind. There are definitely some artistic liberties taken with the pictures on the website vs. the hotel as I saw it. Our room was not cleaned and we had to go down and ask for towels at the front desk. While there, 2 other people asked for the same thing. I can understand if they were short staffed but it would have been nice to have a note saying that or telling us upon check-in. We are reasonable and would have understood. The final off-putting item was the change machine for the laundry room. They had no change nor did they have any change at the front desk. Our tour guide the day before said WY has more banks than gas stations....if this is true, it is unacceptable not to have change for the washer and dryer. The pool was nice and the hot tubs were cozy and warm. The breakfast was average but nothing too special. Given the amount of money per night, we expected a little more than what we rec'd.

Very nice! The beds super comfortable. It's so quiet, we were on the bottom floor, no noise from above or beside us or in the hallway. And judging from the parking the hotel was full. We stayed off season so the rate was very reasonable for such a nice place. The breakfast was also above and beyond delicious. Two types of eggs, potatoes, sausage & bacon, sliced fruit, toast, bagles, muffins. One of the nicest hotels in Jackson.

PRO: Had a good stay here, the rooms are clean, the rooms are good size for two people, great views, breakfast is good saved us a bunch of money. Kenneth took very good care of EVERYONE while we were in the dinning area for breakfast. Thanks Kenneth. CON: The Dinning area was and still is advertised as being open for breakfast, lunch and Dinner. This is untrue. Jackson Hole not only this Lodge is still having issues with being able to hire a full staff. So it is open only for Breakfast. Some of the front desk staff is not as happy it seems to be working. I don’t want to point no one out but there is one that has a strong accent that was just not to pleasant to deal with, very straight forward no excitement at all. For the CON reasons I rate the Lodge a 3 STAR. This is a clean Lodge but you can tell it is up in age and could take a refreshing of Carpet, wallpaper and paint to cancel out the older smell. Would we stay here again ( Yes ) but would check around more first. It would not be our first pick next time we visit Jackson Hole.

Pros: staff was super friendly and helpful, great breakfast, good size rooms, great shuttle service and good bar area. Cons: hot tub broken (that was a big one for us), indoor outdoor “heated” pool was cold, various updates/maintenance needed throughout the hotel. Now seeing reviews from a few weeks ago seems like the hot tub has been broken for a while although the comments were consistently “we have a part coming in”, “hoping it’ll be ready by today”, etc.
