Very educational, great place to take children to learn about birds of prey.

I so enjoyed visiting this educational sanctuary for these amazing birds. My last visit was 15 years ago. It has grown so much, with more new exhibits and enclosures being built. I will be back!

There is an extension you can dial when you call the main number for sick or injured birds
Hi Scott! We agree with Will K. that it was likely either a Cooper's Hawk or a Sharp-shinned Hawk. Both birds are among our favorite back yard raptors!
Yes, we are, but by appointment only. You can book in advance online at: https://peregrinefund.org/visit
If the forecast rain is 40% chance or higher the flights will be cancelled. Also, if there is a driving rain at flight time, that will also cancel (or postpone) the program.
About once an hour.
Sorry, I do not know either. Possibly you could contact the Center to ask your question since we were visitors and not employees. Just a thought.
We visited the center in November and we were amazed at all the birds and all the information about birds that was available. We had grandkids from out of state and they just didn't want to leave. We spent 4 hours there learning so much.
They may have plans available or a book that has some. I would call them and ask.
I know seniors and kids get a discount. But the admission fees are pretty reasonable either way. Some hotels have info fliers that have a dollar or so off coupon on them. Plus, it all goes to a good cause. Was worth every penny.
Hi Jennifer, thank you for your question. Our staff all love dogs, but unfortunately our birds tend to be quite frightened by them, so trained service animals are the only dogs allowed.
They generally do the show unless it is raining or if there is really strong winds. So other than that you should be good. The times I have been there we weren't seated for an hour and a half before the show we sat about 20 minutes before.
Friday Saturday and Sunday from September 22 through November 4th
