Love the social life and culture! I would pay double for better lodging and amenities.

My wife and I just got home from a just about perfect weekend at Barehide. We took out travel trailer, 50amp full hook up. The pad wasn't the greatest, but the people and amenities made up for it. We met many first timers and all the residents. Great times and lots of fun! Be sure to visit the playroom! Take a hike on the trails. Plenty to do and lots to see (:

Our first time at nudist resort. We were a little nervous to say the least, but once we arrived bill made sure we were comfortable. Pam was the first person we met and she made it a wonderful stress free weekend. Thanks everyone for this weekend we will be back

The site costs are adjusted anually. The current information is below: a) You must be approved and purchase a yearly membership to live on site. The membership cost as of 2017 is $600.00. b) You must be approved for an appropriate site for full-time living. The cost of such a site as of 2017 is $180.00. c) Your trailer, mobile home, 5th wheel, etc that you will be living in must meet new community standards. Basically it must be in excellent shape, condition, and visually pleasing. d) You must pay a monthly Residence Fee. The cost as of 2017 is $60.00. With all that being said, you must also be a practicing nudist. We do have facilities that are both indoor and outdoor. The club is no longer Armadillo Resort. It is now under new owners and management. You can find out more at the following website. http://www.thebarehideranch.com The Barehide Ranch
Yes it is a nudist place, where people can relax, soak in a hot tub, or just interact with other nudist. They have cabins, camping spots, all in the privacy of a beautiful wooded area in the country.
Thank you for your question Chris. We do have full-time residents out here. However, there are no available spots (at this time) for another full-timer. We do have spots for those who choose to come out on weekends only and leave their trailers here. In those spots, you are able to build your own deck, etc. But full-time occupancy area not allowed in those spots. I hope this has answered your question. Feel free to come on out and experience the Barehide way of life.
Anywhere you want. We seen plenty of people around our age mid 30s

No, you must be 18 to visit.
Year round. You are very welcome!
There is a good amount of people there on the weekends. This past weekend was our first time there and we didnt see many younger people there. We are 33 and 34. There was quite a few couples our age there. It really dosnt matter, your age.. you will have a great time!! We did.
Sure. We accept all. Call and make an appointment whenever you want to come out.
Most Visitors will arrive on Friday afternoon and leave on Sunday by noon.
Shawn...we have a good mix of all ages. Ranging from 18-60's. I'd say that the most fall in the category of 40's-50's but there are plenty in their 30's and 20's. What age group do you fall in? I hope this helps.
James is right. We will not give a tour during weekends or “peak” hours due to the fact that this is a private club and many of our members don’t necessarily like spectators walking around. With that said, on a slow day like a Monday or Tuesday, an appointment can be set up to be shown around. Call the office Friday-Sunday if you want to set up a time.
I’m a 54-year-old man big man 👨🏾 300lbs would I be accepted
All there pricing should be listed on their website. Not sure about full time. You also can call them, the phone number is on the site as well.
No, I'm afraid not.
