The Parole Officers Don't Do Their Job. Causing People to Fail the System. They don't provide solutions for housing upon release. They just demand the impossible from you while trying to refrain from committing new crimes to help survive. They make you do programs you don't have money for especially when you have no family for support. The Parole System is designed to keep you a revolving Felon. Some people like me want to change for the better and not ever go back to prison. If I could just meet myself a good woman that had her life together and who could love me I probably be ok. All the women I've had are addicts. I see men with women that help them beat this Parole System. Those men don't know what they got until they lose her. For the ones losing hope, don't give up. If you meet a good woman when on Parole don't lose her. You'll regret it. It's the only way to stay out of prison. Love a good a woman and she will never leave your side.

I hope so as well for me.

I don't know what I was thinking as I tried to walk in with my 2 yr old grandson, not thinking of all the types and crimes pple are really doing time for, yes everyone gets parole. No judgment to anyone but its a serious offense and I love my grandson too much. So no no. Find a way keep kids safe...
We have the instructions on the wall here in our office. If you're not comfortable completing it and sending it in over mail, you should come in and complete it in our office at least once.
🤔no
You can come in and see him, or, call and ask to speak with the supervisor

Call with their name and ask to speak with their officer. 702 486 3001
For the 305 program, you can live anywhere in Nevada, not only Las Vegas. You would be able on apply for the Interstate Compact only after you have completed the time on the 305 program and were officially granted parole by the Parole Board. 305 has different costs associated with each aspect, so speak to your caseworker in your facility. Also, there is no financial help for the program. You would have to have a sponsor to assist you with the cost(s).
Yes, within 48 hours. If you were sentenced on a Friday, come in on Monday.

There are multiple supervisors, because we supervise a lot of people. The easiest way is to call our office and request to speak to the supervisor of the specific officer.
Hi Martha - please do NOT come to our office if you are sick. Call your officer and let them know. If you do not have an officer, then speak with our operator and have them connect you with a Sergeant.
Hi Beatriz, give us a call during our business hours, 8am until 5pm, Monday through Friday. The operator can connect you to the officer
No. Contact your officer and let them know what happened. As long as you can provide the returned mail and stay in contact, you should be good.
The department of corrections has an inmate locator on their website which can provide any past or current inmates number
Hi Marduk - unfortunately you cannot pay online. Bring a blank money order into our office and we can explain how to complete it.
Hi Jenna - that's absolutely okay. He'll need to provide you with his BIN number. He can also mail a money order to our office so no one has to come in. We'll mail you a receipt in that case.
Hi Anna - Should an offender abscond from supervision, we will attempt to locate that person, often by going to their residence and employment, contacting their family, and electronically. If they continue to not report, we will issue a no-bail warrant for their arrest, potentially with nationwide extradition. We will continue to look for that person until they are found and brought back in front of the Court or Board to face revocation.
We have more than 20 Sergeants who supervise officers. Contact the office and you can ask to speak with a specific officer's Sergeant.
You need to go down to our office or give us a call, during regular business hours, Monday-Friday, 8a-5p, excluding holidays.
Hi Erica, a lot of people are working out of the office now and aren't at their phones. DM us and I'll help you out
Yes, if you live in the state of Nevada, you need to report in person. If you are not in Nevada, you need to call and ask for Interstate Compact.
Please call and provide identifying information to our telephone operators. They can route you the correct way.
You'll need to speak with our Warrants and Extradition unit. Call 775-684-2600 and ask to speak with them.
Depending on the situation, we can submit for expedited reporting instructions, allowing you to travel to the receiving state during the transfer investigation. Please speak with your officer and have them reach out to the Interstate Compact unit with your situation. Thanks
Hi Tommy, just call our main line and ask to speak with him. They can also provide you his number. Please keep in mind that the officers phone numbers can change with their assignment.
Hi Seth, unfortunately that has not returned. Our office is still mostly closed.
You need to speak with your PO before you can Interstate Compact to California. Your PO will request a date for an interview.
Hi Gabriel, you can find the form on our website, here: http://npp.dps.nv.gov/Home/Resources/Forms/
Hookah is not a controlled substance, so yes you can. Be mindful of your conditions, though, as many hookah lounges also serve alcohol, which can be prohibited by your sentencing judge. If you are unsure of your conditions, speak with your PO.
The office is only open for people that are coming in for the first time, Interstate Compact, or to pay fees. If your officer told you to come in, please verify with them.
Hi Nathan, give our office a call tomorrow. We have been doing all payments by mail and it takes a while to get through them all. You should get a receipt in the mail once it's posted.
Hi Tara, he needs to get with his PO in WV and they need to issue him a travel pass to Nevada, then send a Notice of Departure through the ICOTS system. There are reporting instructions for him on the 4th page of the approved Transfer Request. Feel free to call our office at 702-486-3001 and ask to speak with either the Interstate Officer of the Day or the Interstate Sergeant.
Tentatively on June 15th. We're still working but in-office reporting is not occurring at this time
Our office is currently closed for offender reporting. If you have questions, please contact your officer directly or our general number, 702-486-3001.
As long as Nevada has received your transfer request from Texas in ICOTS, we have up to 45 days to investigate the transfer from the date we received it.
If you're able to complete that much community service work, go for it. Just remember that you need to provide your officer verifiable proof of the work.
I have been asking my very many different P.O.'s & my date doesn't seem to be moving so I was told to 📞 Sgt. Pollock & ask him why
You need to contact your PO and request an appointment with the Interstate Compact Unit. The process can take upwards of two months to complete.
Yes, it is possible with the permission of your sentencing judge, given that your card is legally issued by the State of Nevada. Out of state cards are not honored.
It is true that Marijuana is recreationally legal under specific guidelines in the State of Nevada. As far as your probation goes, you will not be allowed to use MJ. Your roommate is not under our jurisdiction, but your residence is. You will be required to submit to drug tests and possibly counseling as well.
Hello, you need to contact our office at 702-486-3001 and ask to speak with your assigned interstate specialist. From there, they will give you your balance and you can mail us a payment. We accept cashier's check, money order, and personal check. Our address is 215 East Bonanza Road, Las Vegas, NV 89101.
The Nevada Department of Corrections does not have set times for arrival at our office, and they do not inform us until they arrive in our parking lot.
Hi Sharon, we accept personal checks, cashier's checks, and money orders. We do not accept cash or card. You must pay in person at one of our offices.
Hi Meghan, unfortunately we do not accept online payments. You can pay in person with cashier's check, personal check, or money order.
400 Martin Luther King Boulevard Building C I think
We conduct a full investigation for every parolee that is released. Generally, spouses are allowed to reside together, but that will be based upon the specifics of the case and there decision of the investigating officer.
Hi Neli - The Division of Parole and Probation can check with leasing offices when connecting pre-release investigations. The reason for this is to ensure that our offenders have stable, consistent housing that they will not be kicked out of, which is not conducive for successful supervision. You really just need to check with the management and explain your situation.
Hi Anna - you can move anywhere in the State of Nevada, but you will need to run it through your PO first, so we can get your case transferred to the appropriate office.
You should report to NPP at 8am on Monday morning. The office address is 215 E Bonanza.
Yes. We have two other offices, but unless you're explicitly directed to go there, the 215 E. Bonanza office will be where you go.
Yes, call us and ask to speak with that offenders officer or the officers sergeant.
If the offender is in prison, you'll need to check with the Department of Corrections. If they are out on Parole or Probation, we do not provide addresses to the public.
We have no problem with apartments. Many offenders live in apartments, so don't worry about that. If you have more questions, give our office a call and ask to speak with a Parole unit sergeant
Pretty much as soon as you get the address to your officer. We will investigate it thoroughly
We've never heard of insurance paying for house arrest.
http://ned.nv.gov/
Not quite what we meant. A "sponsor" in terms of Interstate Compact is merely a family member or spouse who is willing to provide both emotional and financial support. I would really encourage you to give us a call, and ask to speak with either the sergeant over the Parole unit or the sergeant over Interstate Compact. Talking in person will help us understand your question a little better 😀
You can call our switchboard operator. (702) 486-3001. They will ask you for the offenders name and then they can provide you his/her probation officer's name.
If you're on Parole, your date will not move back unless you haven't paid supervision fees or court-ordered restitution.
There are a lot of elements in play here, but the Parolee is to have no use, possession, control, or access to weapons. If you have a specific concern, please send us a message on Facebook, Twitter, or Instagram, or call us during our normal business hours.
There isn't any other one. Call our office and ask to speak with the LRS sergeant. If that doesn't work, send us a message on Facebook. Thanks!
Hi Lachelle - it sounds like your brother is in prison outside the State of Nevada. If so, he needs to speak with the Parole department in that state and ask about Interstate Compact. He can apply when he has about 45-120 days left in prison, and Nevada will investigate the request. If he meets certain criteria, his case will be accepted. Call our office and ask to speak with the sergeant over the Interstate unit for more specific information.
Hi Lawrence - can you please clarify your question? Thanks!
He needs to get with a caseworker in the prison and apply for Interstate Compact. Nevada does not initiate this request, it has to start in California. Call our office and ask to speak with interstate compact if you have more questions
If you're asking about a hearing, you need to contact the Department of Corrections, if you want to know if someone was released from custody, please give us a call and ask to speak with the Parole sergeant.
Your best bet is to come down to our office, but you can also look them up by last name using the State employee directory for their email information: http://ned.nv.gov/
Was the hearing done?
You would need to contact the Parole Board to find out the outcome. Our department only supervises those offenders who have been granted parole and released.
Shannon, the standard conditions are GPS House Arrest and alcohol monitoring. These cost around $600 per month and are mandatory programs for 305 offenders. Also, fully expect a strict curfew to be imposed and conditions including counseling and other classes.
We have several resources that we offer to offenders. We do realize that jobs are difficult to obtain for individuals with criminal records, but we do our best to find options.
Casino Center & 4th St. I'll remember that. Thank you!
My fiance is waiting his release while in pioche camp, who do i call to find his day of release
Hi Misty, we will get in touch with you shortly. Thank you.
You can call us, or check with the Clark County Detention Center.
You can call and ask to speak to that particular person's officer, but they cannot give you any information regarding the person you are calling about. You can also search public court records.
Amanda - We're going to assume you're talking about someone on Parole or Probation, from Nevada. We do extradite from other states. There are several factors at play, though. The most important thing is that the arresting agency actually contact us. Our warrant is uploaded to national databases, and when a wanted person is detained, that information comes up. It is up to the arresting agency to contact us, to arrange extradition. If they don't, we never know they were arrested. Other factors include costs, availability of travel, ability of the arresting agency to hold, and many more things. If you would like to provide a tip, please contact our Fugitive Apprehension Unit, located at our headquarters office in Carson City, NV at 775-684-2600. Lastly, if the person you are talking about is not on Parole or Probation, none of this applies. Thanks.
They will most likely be released at our building, 215 East Bonanza Road, Las Vegas, NV 89101
I would contact him myself if I were you it would make a good first impression
Parole and Probation. We have examples in our lobby that you can follow
Yes. You can contact our switchboard and give the individuals name and information and it can be researched for you.
Somayya, if you feel that someone is not being supervised, you can contact their officer with any information. You may also ask to speak with our public information officers and they can assist you with any questions.
You should ask your probation officer
What are you saying?? Spell check please
Probably not
Call 486-3001 & ask them..
