A friend was paroled after doing 4.5 years on a 5-9 sentence. If he refuses the parole, how long does he have to stay in before being released?

There is so many factors that play into it. I did time here and found out fast that good time is different. Plus type of or class of felony too. C anfd more u get g.t. but not so much class b. In wyo its 5 yes 9 mo. W the 4 mo off a hr. Some what close.also no write ups.

There are a lot of factors to consider, including past history and the type of crime. With that said, though, we at P&P don't control that date. Your friend would need to speak with his counselor in the Department of Corrections for the final answer on that. Sorry we can't be of more help!
