It was an unsually larger park than from what I saw on the street. Plenty of room, nice benches around the jungle gyms, a large gazebo with about 6-8 picnic tables, a splash pad and large grassy area. The jungle gym seemed to be accesible to wheelchairs and some of the swings seemed to be made for handicapped children. It was actually super awesome.

Fantastic old park, lots of swings and even monkey bars. Too bad the canopy on the larger playground hasn't been repaired after months it having been torn off 🙁

Beautiful well kept park The dog park is great, medium size with grass and trees. The park has a large splash pad for the kids. Lots of trees and grass. There is a decent size horseshoe area. There is also a bocce ball area. This is a wonderful park, not crowded little piece nice hidden gem of a park.

Feces in splash pads have been linked to illnesses in children exposed. Any sane dog owner would not walk their dog through a splash pad, and would especially not let them defecate there.

Not that I know of. GVR H&C used to have fireworks that you could see, but they don't do that anymore. You're probably get the community fireworks from there.
Yes, you can. Just check if this park is "first come - first serve" or if you can make a reservation of one of their gazebos.
