Amazing experience! After my husband passed away I needed a Tax attorney that could help settle some outstanding taxes situation with my husband's business. Mr. Collins and his team came highly recommend from a friend of ours and they did not disappoint. They were able to resolve the situation and keep in contact with me with updates. Dealing with the IRS can be scary, especially in a death situation, the team at Business Tax Resolution made it more easy to deal with and resolve. I would highly recommend.

Anthony Collins and his staff partner Maria Esperanza have helped me tremendosly with my IRS tax issues. Anthony is a great "quarterback" to trust through your IRS issues. His team saved me thousands of dollars and my tax issues are now resolved. They are a 5 star team!!

Just taking a moment to acknowledge the great help from Anton and his law team. Anton listened carefully to our situation and gave us the advice needed to get it taken care of. What struck us even more is that he gave us the information and then the option to work with the firm and not asking for money right away like some other firms!! The information was informative and helped us get our taxes resolved. Thanks again guys, I highly recommend you give them a call.

I appreciate the honesty and the respect that I received from this firm I will recommend them to any of my family members

Wow, sorry to see that. But to your question about what can you do? Well, a real answer actually requires a bit more fact-finding that this forum allows. Feel free to call, and we'll try to help. But also, you mentioned a 401(k) withdrawal? I'd hate to think that you'll be stuck with the loss from a bad promise, and STUCK AGAIN with at least 20% taxes-plus-penalty for an early withdrawal of 401(k) funds. This was truly heartbreaking to learn about. Here is another "scam" situation we hear about, all the time. https://www.stopirsproblem.com/tax-attorney-il-blog/criminal-tax-attorney-naperville/2-ludicrous-tax-attorney-scams-to-avoid/
Normally you should contact the IRS to confirm your tax return was received. You can ask if there was any problem with processing the return, or issuing a refund. Call IRS's main customer service number at 800-829-1040. But yesterday we spoke with a manager from IRS Taxpayer Account Services. She explained (in surprising detail) how and why so many refunds have just not been cleared for issue. The logistics of IRS employees' COVID isolation are a partial cause. Another cause is an unusual spike in refund fraud in recent returns. The IRS mail handlers, return processors, telephone reps, even their computer programmers and trying to catch up. So unfortunately, I think you'll just have to wait it out.
