I started checking every morning until the day I wanted the appointment was shown as available. This was for a SCHENGEN VISA. I got to make my appointment, but was not able to get one for my husband on the same day, very inefficient system.

You will need a visa even if uoi have a green card. Check embassy website to see country specific requirements.

I think that having the residence (I have it), you can travel to Spain. I don't think that in Spain they will give you any trouble unless it's because of the covid. In the United States I think they allow you to be outside the country with residence for less than a year. If it is more, I think you have to contact US immigration

Appointments can be made online but only up to a month in advance. They are only open certain days (M, W, and F mainly I believe) and you will see the appointment blocks are in 20 min increments in the AM only. The documents that need to be taken are also listed on their website.

Check the visa appointment website at midnight Central Time. Their system adds new appointment slots every day at midnight

Your only option is email to them but they are not helpful with that either. Keep checking everyday.

Just go to the office. We didn't have an appt, but we arrived at 850am ... waited for 15,20 mins and they asked us to explain why we were there. Ultimately, they couldn't help us bc we had to go to the US Embassy o solve our issue, but we didn't need an appt.

Get a job there. I haven't seen better work conditions anywhere: 9-1 Mon-Fri and you don't have to answer the phone or reply to emails

I had my nices coming from Mexico and stayed with us for 3 weeks. My brother in law has been here twice. They presented a negative covid test to get in the USA. Actually, you can't board tge airplane if you don't have a negative covid test with you. That is all you need.

Appointments can be scheduled online via their website. It's hard getting am appointment here. Forget calling. In my experience they never picked it up and never returned any call.

We were applying for a different type but the only way we could do it was emailing the consulate. They then cancelled our appointment on their end. A separate time they never responded so we just didn't show (but that was after we had applied and gotten an earlier appointment time so I wasn't concerned about not showing up).

Your PP has to be valid for at least 6 months, and the dates you have here are 7, so you should be good.

Aditya, I have been there. A PDF opens up which is in Spanish but it doesn't talk about the fees or money order anywhere in the document.

You need a student visa if u decide to study even if you are staying below 90 days. The 90 days thing are for tourists.

You can be able to go there and ask questions regarding process that you want to have info but if you want to go and present your documents you need to have an appointment.

Staff is considerate and flexible here. I happened to run into a similar issue last month. I ended up booking the first available slot in one of the other categories than required and showed up earlier. They processed my application promptly without any issues.

If you have all the documents that are requested on the consulate's website, I don't think you will have any kind of problem. However you have to have and follow everything they ask for on the website.

Technically you need to get a visa at a consulate or embassy. I think the best solution will be to go to the Consulate help desk.

I don't know that they provide that service. I was told it's done in Spain. But, if they do I believe you would just walk in. Appointments only seem to be for visas.

If you have a question that they deem isnt answered by information they provide on their website, they will answer an email. I got an answer back within one business day.

You have to look online and find which consulate corresponds to your state. For example, the Spanish Consulate of Chicago deals with Wisconsin, Minnesota, etc.

Maybe you can call the office. If not, look for the USCIS page.
