The place on Morse was magnificent like I had little problems ⚠️ *Due to a living situation, I had to leave, and due to 765 ILCS 750/15, an Illinois Safe Housing Law that I, the tenant, was under the credible imminent threat that I could leave a written notice and be taken off the lease.* On the same day, I had to leave because I was in constant danger due to my ex. I left the same day with both written notice and my police report. I had to call the police afterward and had help from their previous manager. She helped me move while I was packing. (Brittany?) Weeks passed by I got a call from a different manager asking for the due rent. I told him the story, and he said to me that they didn't receive it and, nicely put as they lost my documentation because of the change of hands and that they could not legally take me off the lease. I even asked him if someone hits him, do you think they would want to remove my name, and he said he would call back to give me an update. He gave me his email, and I sent everything over in Oct 2021, within my 60-day period. I even did a follow-up email to which he didn't respond. No one is answering my calls. Thinking they fixed it, I'm taking therapy and trying to move and heal because I have dealt with this tragedy. Fast forward to the present, I get a call from collection trying to collect a debt that I wasn't supposed to be on the lease in Sept 2021! I told them what happened, and trying to get a whole of someone isn't working because of the change of hands. I can't get a while if anyone to fix this simple mistake, and now I'm having to relive my experience as a DV to explain myself once again my situation and which is a terrible thing that I have to do. Updated: 10/20/2022* Updating my review on all platforms promptly but After a year of waiting and having the issue fixed. I already said my part to the manager on the email and collections was removed.

I have been living here for a year and I love the area. It is right next to the train so its always convenient when I don't want to use my car. It is also a block away from the lake, which I absolutely love. I was living in a studio and moved to a 2 bedroom. The team was so helpful when I needed to transfer and made it so easy for me. Xavier always comes as soon as I put a work order in and has helped me on multiple occasions. Maintenance helps me keep my apartment together while I take care of my Dad and pets (love that they are pet friendly). I really appreciate my overall experience living on this property. I would recommended it to anyone, especially if you are looking for budget friendly and high expectations! :) Thank you

I’ve been looking for an ideal apartment for several weeks now. It’s been getting colder and I want to move before winter comes. I came across this beautiful property and thought that it’d be a good fit for me so I scheduled for a tour. On the day of the tour, one of the staff called me to let me know that he was unavailable for the tour that day, so we rescheduled for another tour the week after. It is that day, I came to the property and called several times, but no one was available. No one bothered to call to let me know that they weren’t available for the tour, but I think I’ve seen enough from the reviews that was left on Google (with infestation issues)—and to the person who left that review, thank you for saving a prospective renter like me from going through unfortunate experiences.

WORST apartment I have ever seen in Chicago. Its full of MICE and HOLES. Manager Mark is Very Rude. He never hears what we say, even after showing the mice pictures and holes in the unit. Mice were roaming freely , since the walls are not attached to floor properly and many holes in bathroom & under the cabinet doors. No use of pest control , just they keep 2 trap sheets. We bought sheets and able to catch only few. Due to the holes and broken walls, mice were roaming frequently in day &night. Finally we broke the lease. Even after showing the pictures and explaining the issues, the management not fixed anything and asked us to pay one month rent.
