Great facilities and area to hold birthday parties, the only issue is the cockleburs (stickers) that seams to be in all grassy areas!

No
Total there is over ten miles around and through the park worth of paved trail and some off trails that ate dirt
Please call the zoo..
I seen one last year
That is incorrect. They only have walking and bike trails.
Neither have been stocked to my knowledge. The ponds are fished hard and infested with white perch.
Hold on that question I'll find out the facts I'm going to call right now and give you a straight answer about the kayaking. I just called chedwick county Park and there is no kayaking for the one here in Wichita but you can go out to lake Afton which is another beautiful Park and they do allow kayaking for $5 and that is for a 24-hour pass I'm glad to help anybody in any way I can with the information
That's all that's been built so far the other pieces are future projects. I agree much work need to be done as far as upkeep.
If you enter the park, you'll see a bridge on your left. Continue into the park till you see a second bridge. Park near the second bridge and walk across the bridge. The chair will be on your left.
Maybe around the post.
None
Old sandpits, maybe 25 feet at the deepest is what I recall from when they were open for swimming.
They stock them in March & April, I believe.
https://ssc.sedgwickcounty.org/shelterrentals/park.aspx?id=1 Follow that link. That has all the info on the horseshoe shelter at the park. The other shelters are listed as well and pricing info.
There r grills but they r first come.
Per 360Wichita.com: 645 acres. I have not measured it myself.
There a small "Zoo" in Riverside Park that's free it not the best but it's fun to show a kids
Where is the construction and what are they building
They usually are. The north playground was just updated recently.
No, there is not an area for that. All dogs on a leash at all times. There are dog owners that don't abide by this, and it is quite annoying especially if you are afraid and one comes toward you.
There should be a number person on a piece of paper around the shelter
It's on the west side of the small river that runs through the park. Approximately half way between 13th and 21st streets.
