There is a swimming area that has a slide(@5'depth) there is a low dive(at 6.5'depth) and a high dive which is around 14' deep. The bottom of this area is sand. Nice place, cheap concession, friendly staff. 1 life guard.

Drove 3 1/2 hours to bring my kids to experience one of my childhood favorite sights. Checked the web site several time and the time said they closed at 6 pm. Arrived well before 6 pm. Three cars parked outside and some guy walking around by pool house on a cell phone but the gate is locked and chained!!! VERY DISAPPOINTING!!!!

Clear water in the actual lake the natural pool was great good temps fair price made my skin soft not a lake like smell sand at bottom of pool snacks are fair price!
Catch and release catfish and bass 10 crappie per day max. It was posted on a billboard just outside the park entrance just happened to stop and read it not there to fish
