This access is right across the street from the lonely gas station on A1A. The beach is nice and flat here and isn't "shelly" like the GTM Preserve beaches are (I still love the GTM beaches dearly). It's very lovely here.

It was a perfect day to go shark tooth hunting. We walked the dogs on their leashes and watched the waves roll in. There were many people out there and we were all distracted. We enjoyed a cool breeze and light mist of water. A great 2 mile walk along the shore.

It is good. My ratings are lower because the majority of the beach is shells which are rough to walk on, but this is because the beach was rebuilt after hurricanes Matthew and Irma. Once the beach surface softens up it will be nicer. The parking is on the opposite side of Highway A1A. It is a small to fair sized parking lot. There is a crosswalk with warning lights to assist with safe pedestrian crossing. It isn't the best beach in the area, but it isn't bad. I recommend it.
