My stays here are always excellent.. The staff, housekeepers, maintenance, and the front desk with the exception of the newest person Who could use a lot more customer service training and front desk etiquette that would be Lauren. The interaction I had with her was all I ever want in life. I've been staying here longer than she's been employed and truth be told, this is not her line of expertise at all. She could have easily said I'm not sure how to extend a reservation instead of arguing with me telling me she had to check me out and check me back in which everyone else never does, then she couldn't explain why there was an increase in the price. Thank God for Ashley, along with all the front desk staff who do their job well. She might should have applied for the least customer interaction position you have because nothing about her is pleasant.

The staff was very accommodating, we were given an upgrade and were treated with much dignity. I lost my wedding ring and Irving who drives the shuttle to and from the airport, found it and tracked me down to return it. I had no idea where I lost it. Above and beyond the call of duty. Thanks. When back in Phoenix we will stay there. Room was nice and clean as well. BIG UPS TO IRVING!

Don’t be deceived by the outward appearance. The hotel is located behind a very good restaurant called the Rodehouse. It’s my understanding that the hotel is under new management. I can tell you that the reception area is large and welcoming with nice wood furniture and high ceilings. The check-in staff is very accommodating and friendly. The rooms aren’t fancy but they are very clean. But perhaps the most telling is when we called to ask for a fan they said they don’t rent them but they would bring one to us. To me, that sort of accommodating customer service, going above and beyond, makes this place highly recommendable . They need to landscape and re-pave the parking lot, but I believe since they’re under new management that will come. So…overlook the outside and give this place a chance. I don’t think you’ll be disappointed!

We stayed here two nights and it was great. Clearly newly remodeled the rooms were clean and comfy. The front desk staff alone is worth the 5 stars. Everyone was delightful. The pool is currently out of service however.

The pool is seasonal. Call for times. It is a lovely pool to play and sun in.
I don`t remember any fast food restaurants nearby. But, there`s small restaurant in proximity to the hotel (you dont have to leave the building. They have nice sandwiches and pretty quick service.

Our airport shuttle is 24 hours, just make sure to sign up for it when you check in.
There is no complimentary breakfast. The restaurant (while attached to the hotel) is a separate business. You can order food to your room from the restaurant or you can walk over. I do not recall the hours the restaurant is open for business. Don't let the name of the restaurant turn you away, it's not very "Roadhouse" inside and neither is the food. Friendly, quick staff.
