I have been coming here for yeeeeears. Nice trails and open areas to play with your dogs, my only concern is that there are some owners who do not keep an eye on their dogs, or will not move them away from the Entrance Gate where they can be a little intimidating and aggressive.

Whalon Lake is a forest preserve owned by the Forest Preserve District of Will County. The preserve includes a lake, a dog park and sections of the DuPage River Trail.
