Yes would you work on LG washers but small drip is usually hard to diagnose especially on front loader since you can run it the front open and make sure your door seal is tight. I haven't had much success fixing small drips

Have a Maytag dish washer. Control panel was not fully functional and now it won't work at all. Is this fixable and would it be cheaper than replacing the unit?

It's a dishwasher more than 7 years old I recommend replacing the dishwasher. Control panel could be pricey repair. Probably about halfway to 3/4 of a new dishwasher
