Very nice park and camping area!

Trafton Park in Malta Mt was a real joy. For 5 bucks a night you get a space and water. You provide your own power and the dump is at the ConocoPhillips west of the park on Hwy 2 and no charge. Restrooms, trails, river, biking and access close to downtown Malta. Park is next to the rodeo grounds and just happened to be a rodeo in town on Saturday night. Will definitely stay there again.

Stayed here May 22nd to the 25th 2021 and had a nice quiet stay. We have a 26ft. class C motorhome and found spots for big rigs. The park sits along the Milk River and has two nature trails to walk and explore. The bathrooms are vault toilets but the were still closed from the winter. The parking is were ever but there are nice picnic tables and charcoal grills, we camped next to one. Water spigots and garbage cans are available throughout the park. Lots of playground equipment around so children were around playing but no bother. Grocery store and gas station are within walking distance. $5 is a bargain!!

Very nice City Park with several play areas, ball courts, a levee trail, picnic shelters and lots of grass. You can camp for $5/night. Frequent drive-bys by the Sheriff and no Vagabonds- except maybe us. We felt quite safe and relaxed. Water spigots are available. Flat camping sites just on the grass and unmarked.
