West End Tent and Trailer Campground

This was the perfect place to rest our heads for the night. You can only book for the night you plan to stay, no early reservations. We were a little confused how to reserve but found the “host spot” and a gentleman (didn’t get his name) was extremely nice and helped me book it. Both men and women shower/restrooms were very clean. There was an outhouse near the tent camping which was also clean. Tent areas- OF didn’t have a lot of shade but the view was pretty. Easy site had a picnic table and fire pit. RV spots look great, each one had a handicap accessible picnic table and fire pit.

Nice park. Lots of trees. Beautiful lake. Only negative, was that our site 4 had a slight incline and was difficult to level

Camped in the overflow area. Very nice, lots of trees. Nice kept area. Nice bathroom with shower facilities.

Nice spot for family camping, with a perfect amount of trees so as to not hinder the veiw of the historic surroundings.
