What a shame.. All the stores are pulling out and the owners don't seem to recognize that their rental rates are too high for Mom & Pop stores to afford. The National chains are going online and the only way they will fill these stores is to Drasctically lower their rent, so Mom & Pop stores can move in to fill the stores. Stein Mart which closed at the South Mall, that building is only $5,000 per month and it is the size of The Gap. Fill the spaces! Perhaps some Antique vendors would be a good idea.

The promenade looks like it's recovering from covid shut downs. Several stores/restaurants are closed and a few pop up type shops in their place. This was a destination when it was first built, I truly hope they bring quality stores back in to keep this place going. It's not at all "going down hill", there are still fantastic shopping and eateries here, but with several empty stores between them. I still like walking through from one side of the lot, stop at sbux on the way to the theater and window shop!

Date of visit: Easter Sunday April 17, 2022. Since it was a holiday I didn't expect much to be open. This was actually my second visit to the Shops. The first time was back in 2009 when I worked at the golf tournament. This shopping center has a great variety of stores sort of something for everyone. Back then I remember visiting LL Bean and Fresh Market. This time I visited Fresh Market and bought a pre-made sandwich to go. It was quite filling and good value for the money. If I had more time I would have explored more. The market is my favorite store here. If I am ever in the Saucon Valley I will stop in again.

Big place. Parking lot was clean and secure. Roving security, at least at night. Good beer choices at Torre and Bar Louie. Food at Torre was awesome. Service at both places was exceptional. Not a particularly large crowd on a Sunday afternoon.

Hi heather, the pop-jet fountain is closed from 6/15/2019 until 6/18/2019 for maintenance.
Yes you can at the main office. At the back of the mall. They come in a nice card and envelope

Bar Louie's is the only place so far we were told no animals are allowed per the owners. We have a family member who has service animal. We were told by the manager no entry regardless. My child reminded him of the law and he shoved us in the back away from everyone in the establishment. We have not returned since.

The shops are not crowded and the clerks actually will help you and are friendly. Starbucks is the only insanely crowded placr.
All types of stores: book store, clothing, sporting goods, toys - you name it. It's REALLY far if you're in Florida. It is between 309 & 378 in Upper Saucon Twp. It is SAUCON Valley [NOT Saucony] and it is 5.8 miles, 11 minutes from the Casino per Google maps. Other have it wrong.

We are currently reviewing the guidelines set forth by the state and CDC in an attempt to create a plan that would allow for the pop jet fountain to open in a safe (and fun) manner for everyone. Not all of the stores are open Barnes and Noble is expected to open tomorrow on Friday 6.12.20

There is a water park at Dorney and there and a fountain only at the Promenade the Promenade is an upscale shopping area
I would think that they lock restroom when everything is closed.

We do have benches and other seating available throughout The Promenade, and even a few that are quieter areas of the shopping center, thus offering more privacy, if needed. There is one in particular that located near the Management Office, which is located behind Red Robin. And, a few in the walkway that’s located in between Brooks Brothers and Charming Charlie.

No, they tilt back a little when you sit back but I wouldn't call it reclining.

There are 2 new hotels near the center. One is a Hilton Homewood Suite which is across the street from the center. The second is a Marriot Springhill Suites located about a mile down the road from the center, right by the 309 and 78 interchange.
